Ready to Adopt? What are the next steps?

  • Questionnaire

It all starts with you! Start by filling out our adoption questionnaire under a dog or cat of interest. Please note, you may indicate within the form if you are only interested in a specific animal, or general dog or cat interest.

This form helps us understand your lifestyle, preferences, and what you’re looking for in a furry friend. Your answers guide us in making the best possible match

  • Matchmaking Discussion

Once we receive your questionnaire, we’ll reach out to schedule a matchmaking discussion. This is where the magic happens! Our team of dedicated adoption counselors will talk with you about your preferences, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for in a companion. We’ll work together to identify potential matches for your family.

  • Meet

After our matchmaking discussion, we’ll set up an appointment for you to visit our shelter. Here, you’ll meet the animals we’ve identified as potential fits for your family. This appointment ensures a focused, one-on-one interaction with the animals, allowing you to get to know them on a personal level.

Once a successful meet takes place, and a match is made, you may hold your adoption for 24 hours by providing a non-refundable deposit of $100.00. This allows you some time to prepare your home for your new companion. We believe that it’s in the best interest of the animal to transition to a loving home as soon as possible.

  • Adoption

When you’ve found the one who makes your heart sing, it’s time to make it official! Our team will guide you through the adoption process, ensuring all the necessary paperwork is completed. Then, you and your new furry friend can head home to start your journey together.
