Baypath Educates Launches Careers in Animals Presentation
Community Liaison Michelle Kreell and rescue dog Laney had a great time visiting Upton recently in a fun Multigenerational event.
Hosted at the Upton Senior Center, the program was attended by local seniors as well a teen group from the town Library. They talked about Baypath and rescue, along with various careers involving animals and how younger kids and teens could get involved. Michelle talks a bit about the organization and the work done at the shelter and then gives animal lovers a great presentation on all the careers out there involving animals – from veterinarian, to marine biologist, to wildlife rehabilitator and more.
If you have a program or group interested in learning about animal welfare, please contact Michelle at [email protected]. She has programming geared toward small children, as well as older teens and frankly animal lovers of all ages – from safe animal handling, to careers in animal welfare, to animal sheltering and more.
