Baypath Welcomes Beagles From Envigo-Cruelty Case

We were honored to welcome six male beagles that came from Envigo, the Virginia the breeding facility that was selling them for research and were closed down for cruelty violations.

Since July 2021, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has cited Envigo for more than 70 violations of the federal Animal Welfare Act (AWA).

 

 

We received these puppies from our friends at Northeast Animal Shelter from their recent transport of 48 beagles brought up to Massachusetts so that they can start their new life.
