Yogi is a sweet, dashing young spaniel-mix who had been discarded in a desolate wooded area in Puerto Rico.

Over the next few months, Marianne’s loving care helped Havarti and her babies recover and become strong, healthy kitties.

Charlie arrived at Baypath underweight and shaking with fear. He’d been bounced around and mistreated during his early years. A Baypath volunteer took him home to give him a quiet place to stay and some extra love and attention until he was adopted.

Sassy was born as a stray in South Carolina, giving her a tough, challenging start to life. Living on the streets, Sassy had had little human interaction and so she missed learning that people can be trustworthy and kind.

Fostering enriches my life immensely. I can see right in front of me what the work does. And when your foster dog finds a loving home, it’s incredible!

With the help of several kind people in our community, we were able to rescue a stray cat named Pepper and get him to the shelter.

Mr. Crocker is a senior dog who was found living on the streets in Roslindale. He is the perfect example of a dog who benefited greatly from being in a foster home.

Originally found abandoned in the winter, Mammoth arrived at Baypath extremely distressed. After all the upheaval in his life, he understandably had trouble adjusting to shelter life.

Bonnie was scared and shut down after fending for herself on the streets of South Carolina. She urgently needed a quiet space to relax and feel safe.
