Baypath Educates Next Generation of Animal Advocates
Our Humane Education Program, Baypath Educates, offers free educational programming on a wide range of animal care topics. Community Liaison Michelle Kreell – and her ‘spokesdog’ Lane – visit schools and community groups throughout the year, presenting a diverse array of animal welfare topics to both children and adults.
Earlier this month, Michelle and Lane were invited to the Boys & Girls Club of Worcester, one of the largest youth development agencies in Central Massachusetts. The Boys & Girls Club provides mentoring, programs and services that help youth reach their full potential.
As part of the organization’s Career Initiative, Michelle spoke with a small group of amazing teens, discussing various career paths involving animals as well as Baypath’s animal rescue work.
Both Michelle and Lane were thrilled to be a part of this informative program at the Boys & Girls Club, one of many presentations made possible thanks to Middlesex Savings Bank, whose generous support allows Baypath to continue providing high-quality educational programming throughout the local community.
