A Neighborhood Runs a Bake Sale to Help US!
This is the third year that a group of extremely thoughtful children chose Baypath to donate the proceeds from their annual bake sale—just look at that yummy goodie! We are so proud of all their hard work and feel very lucky to also call them our neighbors.
When asked why Baypath was selected they had explained that they love animals and love the work that Baypath does. Our kitties also seemed to feel the love when the children came in to play with them during their visit.
This year was made even more special since it coincided with Indian Independence Day (August 15th). As you can see from the photos it was a very festive event. One parent explained that having the two events fall on the same day gave them an “additional motivation to celebrate and do something for the greater good.”
We are so fortunate to have such generous families within our community to help us every day so we can continue to help animals in need.
