Pain finally eradicated in young cat

This orange beauty, aptly named Harvest after the colors of autumn, came to us in November 2021 as an injured and sick stray. When he arrived we noticed he wouldn’t put any weight on one of his back legs. While we were treating him for an upper respiratory infection we also had x-rays taken and realized we wouldn’t be able to repair the damage to his hind leg and we made the decision to have it amputated.

Harvest is now living his best life with his new family. Thanks to our donors and supporters we could provide this necessary surgery to relieve Harvest of his constant pain and have him nursed back to health while in foster until he was adopted.
