Whole Foods Market supports Baypath’s educational initiatives
We are so grateful to Whole Foods Market’s Community Giving Program for supporting our educational initiatives with an award of $1750. These funds will allow us to further our work and allow us to better serve our community.
This past year we were able to help over 800 families welcome 888 cats and dogs into their homes. We served families in 197 cities and towns in Massachusetts.
During this time, we found that the overwhelming need in our community is for more educational resources focused around animal care, safety and enrichment – both in shelter and in homes. Luckily, there are informative and affordable books, booklets and handouts out there that address these issues.
Thanks to this award, we will be able to procure and disseminate these resources to adopters to meet their needs – cat or dog – body language, enrichment, training, kid safety, etc.
This initiative will impact hundreds of families and animals by giving them the resources they need to succeed. We can’t thank Whole Foods Market’s Community Giving Program enough!
