Marvin is dreaming of a forever home where he has a dog buddy to live with. He’s most animated and relaxed in the company of other dogs. He loves to play and to go out walking for miles. He finds his stride in the quiet of the great outdoors. His foster mom says he's one of the best foster dogs they've ever had! He’s a good boy in the house and out, and is house trained.
He gets along well with dogs and cats. Marvin has lots of fun exploring new places and relaxing with his favorite soft, squeaky toys. He amuses his foster family by picking up random objects like a magazine or a sock and carrying them around the house and putting them down somewhere else. Marvin recently made the trip all the way up from Louisiana to strike gold and find a home. For all the years of his life thus far, he's been in a shelter environment and never really had a home of his own. How awful, right?!
Because of this, he can be scared of strangers and of cars. Marvin will hide in the corner with his head down when someone new comes over, but once he knows you, he’s an absolute sweetheart. He’ll be happiest in a quiet home with adults only where he can stretch out and relax.
** Marvin is spending some time out of the shelter in a temporary foster, so please email email@example.com to learn more about his application process!
