VCA Charities’ Annual “Pennies for Pets” Campaign
VCA Animal Hospitals, the nation’s largest animal hospital network, and its nonprofit partner organization, VCA Charities, together have successfully raised more than $570,000 to support regionally selected companion animal welfare organizations in the annual company-wide Pennies for Pets campaign.
From April to June 2019, seven VCA hospitals in Central Massachusetts and Boston collected donations by encouraging clients to round up their transaction amounts to the nearest dollar or donate online. The local campaign raised $1,704.02 for Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, one of the most impactful animal welfare organizations in central Massachusetts.
