When my husband and I came to the shelter, Jeffrey Lasagna was in a snuggle puddle with several cats, so we just knew he would be the perfect addition to our home’s feline ecosystem. Not only has he bridged the gap between his new furry siblings, he has also become my shadow, following me around the house and demanding to be carried while I do chores! He’s the best companion and we can’t imagine our lives without him.

After nearly nine months in a southern shelter, Lewis was fortunate to make his way to Baypath. Following adoption, he experienced some behavioral challenges in our home. While this could have left us feeling overwhelmed, we instead felt set up for success thanks to the training tools and resources Baypath provided. Fast-forward two months, and Lewis is thriving. A total sweetheart, he has brought endless joy to our family. Lewis really is the perfect dog – I’m so thankful we can give him the home he deserves after his rough start in life.

Being involved in ‘Building Baypath’s Future’ honors the memory of my late spouse, Pam. For over 10 years, Pam and I were rescued by Bess, a beagle mix whom we adopted from Baypath. This little rescue dog brought so much joy to our lives. When Bess passed in 2022, I once again turned to Baypath to adopt a new companion, a Red Heeler mix named Levon. The talented and dedicated staff inspired me to become more involved. My capital campaign gift of securities is the perfect way to honor Pam’s spirit and her love of animals.
