Nikki Baltas, CVT
Nikki started volunteering at Baypath in 2010 and joined the team as a part-time Animal Care Associate in 2012. In December of 2020, Nikki was promoted to Shelter Manager. In addition to the daily care of our animals, Nikki oversees the Adoption Program, as well as the Kitten Foster Program, which enables us to find loving homes for more than 300 kittens a year. In 2019, Nikki completed her Bachelor of Science in Vet Tech and went on to earn her vet tech certification. Nikki has one dog, Sherman, who is pals with her three cats.
Nikki has completed the Massachusetts Animal Coalition’s AniMatch training – Canine Body Language and Behavior Observation Training. She is an approved AniMatch Behavior Observer. Most recently, Nikki completed the Fear Free Shelter Program – a program committed to reducing stress in shelter animals.
