Lauren Maistros
Lauren started volunteering at Baypath in 2011 and joined the team as a full-time Animal Care Associate in 2013. In addition to the daily care and adoptions of our animals, Lauren works with our accountant and treasurer to enhance financial protocols and oversees the finance and administrative tasks on the shelter end. In 2018, Lauren took on the role of Operations Coordinator. She continues to work with the animals and the community, but is also responsible for improving performance, productivity, and efficiency through the implementation of effective methods and strategies at the operations, development and financial levels. Lauren has one cat named Leo.
Lauren has completed the Massachusetts Animal Coalition’s AniMatch training – Canine Body Language and Behavior Observation Training. She is an approved AniMatch Behavior Observer. She also recently completed the Fear Free Shelter Program – a program committed to reducing stress in shelter animals.
