Success Story: Titan
Success Story: Titan
Titan was a local surrender. He came from a loving family, but there were too many moving pieces and they felt Titan needed more. He did have some resource guarding and some separation anxiety so we knew he would need a special family to help him work on those things.
He also had a few health issues we needed to tend to, including working with our vet partners to see to his hips and getting him a dental procedure.
Given his medical and behavioral challenges, we felt he would do best in a foster home. Yet again, we were able to turn to our wonderful foster network and transition him straight out of his home and into the foster home, sparing him additional stress and allowing him the chance to immediately decompress.
Our trainer, Beth, worked with the foster on a couple occasions to help him with his anxiety in the home, but made great progress there. And soon enough he went to visit the foster’s parents, who immediately fell in love and adopted him shortly thereafter.
From his family who had to rehome him –
Thank you so much for your Titan’s pictures and news about his well being and adoption. It brought great joy and relief to me and the rest of my family as we love and miss him.
And thank you, Nikki and the Bay Path Humane Society for all your care and support finding a new home for Titan.
