Success Story: Peaches

This past fall, a mother cat and her newborn kittens arrived at Baypath, after being rescued in Boston. Thankfully a foster family was able to care for this little family, making sure they had all the necessary nutrition and medical care. The mother cat, now named Boston, did wonderfully, and her babies — Brookline, Newton, Wellesley, Framingham, Ashland, and Hopkinton — all flourished. Soon, the “Marathon” kittens were ready to be adopted and, in October, each one, and mom Boston, found their forever homes.

Ashland, now Peaches, acclimated quickly to her new environment, quickly learning to snuggle with her brother Snickers and play chase with her sister Waffles. “She’s small but strong, and has finally mastered the basement stairs necessary to supervise my Peloton workout each day! Her foster family set her up for success, and I am grateful to be just one of the many beneficiaries of Baypath’s foster program,” said her new mom, Susan.
