Tell us about yourselves and your connection to animals.
“We’ve always found older dogs to be more our speed and know they are often overlooked. We volunteered at and adopted from a senior dog rescue and give back to low-income seniors with pets. Our goal as a couple is to raise awareness around adopting (especially seniors) to help alleviate some of the burden facing shelters. The need for organizations like Baypath is growing and our financial support means their community reach can be greater.”
What inspired you to become a monthly donor?
“Baypath changes lives – and we want to help and give back (even if in a small way). We believe we are all part of one big community and want to do our part. It takes so little to set up a monthly donation!”
How did you first become involved with us?
“Back in 2015, we fell in love with one of your dogs online – then adopted three! We could see how much Baypath was doing to save lives and provide vital services to the community. As we don’t live close enough to volunteer, recurring giving was the best way to impact your mission.”
Why do you feel your monthly gift is meaningful?
“It allows your team to focus on daily shelter operations and prioritize animals’ needs thanks to the consistent donation schedule.”
Any advice for someone considering recurring giving?
“Giving consistently (even small amounts) adds up and allows Baypath to plan ahead and save more lives. Animal welfare is a community issue and we encourage others to play a role through their kind giving.”
