Momma cat, barely surviving while caring for her 4 kittens

This young kitty was less than a year old when she was found locally as a stray in November 2021. Not only was Miley striving to survive the winter, she also was nursing and caring for four kittens while fighting off a skin infection.

She then developed another serious, life-threatening infection that spread throughout her body. After six weeks, she recovered and has since been adopted.

To be safe, we needed to have the kittens placed into foster to have their health closely monitored. Two of Miley’s kittens have been adopted and two others are ready for adoption!

Miley and her four kittens are thankfully happy, healthy and in a home.

FAST FORWARD ONE YEAR AFTER ADOPTION

Miley, now named Burger, is thriving in her home. Burger enjoys soaking up all the love from her paw-rents and being pampered daily. They say she is a barrel of energy who loves her chicken and gravy!
Thanks to Burger’s dad (a film director and editor) for the purrfect photos of this superstar!
