Local surrender learns to trust again
This beautiful long-legged beauty is 10-month-old Gertie. We are grateful to have her surrendered to us as her prior situation was one of cruel neglect and abuse. She lived her life mainly in a crate.
She lived in a foster home with an experienced trainer to help build her confidence while she healed from a recent surgery to repair several fractured, infected teeth. Only with the help of our Baypath community we are happy to report she has healed well enough to look for her forever home.
