Ode ~ South Korean Rescue

Ode came to us from Korea in July 2021, the very first group that we received and was shy, but a bit more forward than the other three that came on the same rescue transport.

Ode was adopted one month later and renamed Luna. Longtime adopters of Baypath, Judy and Rich, have taken in a few rescues over the years and they said, “In all honesty, Luna has been the easiest of all of them.” Luna joined their other Baypath alum and the dogs are doing incredible together.

“She is a highly intelligent dog that has learned routines very quickly. She can be let outside in our fenced-in backyard to do what she needs and will come back in when called. She goes into her crate when she needs a break from the other dog and at night knows when I take my shoes off it’s time for bed and will walk right into her nighttime crate. She has had no medical issues and does great at the vet and when she’s had to be boarded. She is playful and so much fun.”
