Moose ~ South Korean Rescue

Moose arrived at Baypath in February 2022. He was such a striking, dignified young dog and his eyes always looked as though they had a story to tell. Only knowing a small part of the deteriorating conditions he came from, we can only imagine what that story would be.
Moose, as with most of the dogs that arrive from South Korea, needed time to decompress and learn to walk on a leash. As Moose got more and more comfortable at the shelter his silly side emerged. We also discovered he loved stuffed toys.
As you can see in this video, Moose had quite the personality:
He stayed with us for three months until Dennis arrived with toys in hand to meet Moose (he read that Moose loved toys in his bio on-line) and adopted him. Dennis is so grateful for his pal and said that “Moose is doing great.” The staff was amazed to hear that Moose, the dog that wouldn’t wear a collar or walk on a leash, was now walking about four miles a day with Dennis. From their most recent update, it sure sounds like Moose is as attached to Dennis as Dennis is to Moose.
