Pets Empower arranges temporary pet fostering for people in crisis with pets in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. They give pet parents who are unable to provide a safe home for their pets a way to seek help and hope, without the fear of losing their faithful companions.
Safe People Safe Pets helps secure temporary shelter for pets of domestic violence victims. Safe People Safe Pets helps coordinate confidential, temporary foster homes for these pets, providing a safe escape from domestic violence.
Dakin Humane Society Safety Plan for Animals provides temporary foster care for the pets of people who are elderly or disabled and who need a temporary stay in a hospital or nursing facility, or are seeking emergency shelter from domestic violence.
HAVEN Safe Pet Program assists victims of domestic violence and elder abuse by providing safe, temporary shelter for their pets.
