Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton is growing—and so is our impact. As we embark on the most exciting chapter in our history with a new facility on the horizon, we’re inviting passionate, skilled individuals to help guide us through this transformational time by joining our Board of Directors Events Committee.
Baypath’s Board of Directors is a committed group of volunteers who help shape the direction of our organization through financial oversight, strategic planning, and community engagement. Board members serve on specialized committees that align with their skills and interests. The Events Committee is one of the most dynamic arms of the Board, responsible for bringing our mission to life through fundraising events that engage the community and sustain our lifesaving work.
Are You a Natural Organizer and Connector?
We’re looking for professionals with a strong background in event planning who want to give back in a meaningful way. You’ll work alongside fellow committee members, staff, and volunteers to help execute our three Signature Events—including our Paws & Claws 5K, the sold-out Fore Paws Golf Tournament, and the wildly popular Fur Ball. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and executing events from concept to completion
- Collaborating with vendors and sponsors
- Promoting events through partnerships with our social media team
- Handling day-of logistics and guest experience
- Cultivating relationships with donors and participants
- Conducting post-event evaluation to inform future success
