Baypath’s 2024 Annual Report Highlights: A Year of Compassion and Progress

The 2024 Annual Report for Baypath Humane Society highlights a year of increased demand and steadfast community support. In the fiscal year running July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, Baypath met a sharp rise in rehoming requests through local partnerships, including Project Just Because and major sponsors like Middlesex Savings Bank. Signature events—such as the Fore Paws Golf Tournament, Fur Ball, and Paws & Claws 5k—saw record participation, helping to sustain critical animal care services and community programs. Adoption stories, like those of Delta, a resilient southern pittie, and Amber, a senior cat, illustrate the organization’s dedication to giving animals a second chance.

A major focus this year is the Building Baypath’s Future campaign, aimed at constructing an 8,200-square-foot facility on a five-acre parcel in Hopkinton. This new center will provide more space for enhanced animal care, public engagement, and internal operations, allowing Baypath to meet modern standards and community needs. The campaign is funded through gifts, pledges, and contributions from local partners and community members, helping Baypath expand its capacity to serve animals and educate the public.
