Baypath Partners with Bissell Pet Foundation

All aboard! Thanks to the efforts of the Bissell Pet Foundation and their partner organizations many homeless pets are one step closer to finding their loving forever homes.  These lucky cats and dogs made their way from several southern states to countless shelters and rescues throughout the Northeast – including Baypath! 

We are thankful to all of our Baypath transport volunteers for welcoming the furry passengers off the flight and bringing them to Baypath. As you can see in the photos the Southern kitties and pups received the red-carpet treatment when they arrived!

Transporting animals from the South and other parts of the United States to the Northeast has become more challenging this year, as owner surrenders increase, adoptions decrease and shelters find themselves at full-capacity. Partnerships with outstanding organizations like the Bissell Pet Foundation are integral to Baypath’s mission to provide shelter, care, humane treatment and loving homes for stray or unwanted companion animals.

Bissell Pet Foundation’s commitment to ‘Saving Lives One Transport at a Time,” aligns with Baypath’s personalized approach to animal care and dedication to each animal’s health and wellness. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Bissell as well as other dedicated rescue partners across the country and internationally.
