11th Annual Fur Ball a Great Success
We are absolutely blown away by the outpouring of support we received from our mission-driven party animals at our 11th Annual Fur Ball on March 24th at The Verve in Natick. While our new night, new venue and new theme made this year’s event exciting, it was everyone who participated who truly made the evening one to remember – and helped us raise just over $50,000 for our dogs and cats!
Over 270 animal lovers joined us at the ball. We were excited to see so many familiar faces – and so many new ones – in their disco gear!
Thanks to our wonderful friends at Northern Lights Entertainment, who so generously sponsored their package, we were able to have Doug, Tania, Mike, Kelly and Hale keep the music pumping, the energy up and fun times captured in their photo booth!
We had over 150 live and silent auction items thanks to countless business and individuals in our community and beyond. Click here to learn more about our generous auction donors. Thanks to speciality event lighting sponsored by Suzanne B. Lowell Lighting Design, the items, rooms, dance floor and people were surrounded in decorative and elegant lighting!
We shared messages from our Board Chair Courtney McFarland and our Executive Director Elizabeth Jefferis, as well as a video montage of countless success stories made possible by our supporters. We also had a wonderful Live Auction, where our guests bid on great items like a week at the Outer Banks, a plane ride over New England, Taylor Swift tickets, and more!
This event would not have been possible without the Fur Ball Committee, the countless volunteers, and auction donors. Additionally, we had 26 community Gold and Silver Paw Sponsors support this critical event. Click here to learn more about these generous business and individual sponsors. And a huge thank you again to our entertainment sponsors, Northern Lights Entertainment and Suzanne B. Lowell Lighting Design, who underwrote a significant portion of the evening.
The enthusiastic participation in this signature annual event – via attendance, sponsorships and donations – allows us to continue working as a leader in animal welfare – locally, nationally and internationally. Funds raised at the Fur Ball fund essential services at the shelter, as well as innovative and compassionate community programs that serve both animals in need and the people who love them.
Thank you – from the bottom of our hearts – to everyone who made this ball a great success.
Stay tuned for a ‘Save the Date’ for 2024 soon!
